Hello. My name is Davina Irvin. I am a resident of Tuscaloosa, AL, where I live with my husband and two children. I am the Physical Education teacher at University Place Elementary School. I have 24 years of experience in teaching Physical Education. I currently have a Bachelors of Science in Education degree from the University of Alabama and am pursuing a Master's degree in Physical Education from the University of West Alabama. Over the past 24 years I have seen the transformation that technology has played on advancing education. Integrating technology into my classroom has had an extremely positive impact on my students. They are more actively engaged in the lessons and exercises when technology is included in the lesson. Technology has also been an extremely effective way to integrate physical education instruction with the core academic subjects taught in school.
